DENTIST

Martin Roberson, D.D.S., was born in Atlanta and moved all around the state of Georgia as a youngster. Growing up in a household where his father was a pastor for 31 years and his mother was a registered nurse, he learned the value of caring about others and working hard for a living. “With both my parents having careers involving the giving of themselves to others, I knew early on that I wanted to help people,” Martin states proudly.

From grade school to high school, Martin played all the sports he could. If it was a sport that involved him being outside, he participated in it. This desire to be outside would one day help him decide where he would live — someplace warm and southern.

In high school Martin got braces and developed a friendship with his Orthodontist his senior year. He admits, “I wasn’t all that thrilled about getting braces, but it did open my eyes to a possible career.” He saw how he could help others and started considering becoming a doctor.

Courtney – Practice Manager

Courtney is from Florida but has lived up and down the East Coast. She has always worked in medical offices but has especially enjoyed her last 2 years in dental. She has 2 daughters Lilly (17) and Addie (12) and married her husband, Dave, in 2023! When she’s not in the office she enjoys, supporting Volunteer Football, anything and everything water-related, the outdoors, and spending time with her family and cats.

Nina – Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)

Nina was born in Knoxville and started her career in dentistry in 2013. A mother of two children, Nina enjoys spending time with family, traveling and shopping. She truly believes “Helping to create a better smile is my passion.”

Ashley – Expanded Duty Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA)

Ashley is a native of Maryville, TN and graduate of Heritage High School. She attended Pellissippi Community College and has been certified as an expanded function dental assistant. She and her daughter Jaelynn enjoy traveling, roller coasters, biking and most outdoor activities. Ashley is a people person who loves taking care of her patients, especially those with special needs.

Brooke – Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)

Brooke is originally from Alcoa, TN and enjoys spending time with friends and family, including her Golden doodle puppy and cat. She knew at a young age she wanted to pursue a dental hygiene career and is very passionate about her profession. Brooke graduated Cum Laude from Hiwassee College in May 2017 with a B.S. degree in Dental Hygiene.

Melissa – Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)

Melissa and Dr. Roberson have worked together for 10 years. She began her dental career over 28 years ago with the Red Cross Dental Program. She served in the United States Navy for 15 years, and has worked in all aspects of dentistry. She is passionate about dental health, making sure patients are comfortable and at ease in the dental chair, and providing quality dental care. Melissa love to give back to the community by volunteering at the Volunteer Ministry Center providing dental treatment to the homeless,and poverty stricken community. In her spare time she enjoys camping, traveling and reading.
